PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

Sand pulp enters the sand washer separator through an inlet port located in the upper part of the machine. In the tank, the sand slurry is washed of the organic part by means of special directional nozzles. In addition, this process is assisted by a slow-speed agitator with a motion opposite to the washing system. The lagging sand at the bottom of the unit is removed by means of a screw conveyor. The screw conveyor is controlled by a hydrostatic sensor mounted in the bottom section. During transport, the sand is dewatered.
