Sand separators

Device description

The sand separator is used to separate sand and other falling particles from wastewater. It captures falling particles and removes them in a dewatered state. The operation of PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s sand separator takes place sequentially, which, depending on the size of the device and thus the desired performance parameters, allows you to set appropriate time intervals during which sedimentation of the separated particles takes place, followed by their removal outside the separator by conveyor. The main advantage of PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s sand separator is the high efficiency of sand separation and dewatering with the assured functionality of a compact design and very low energy consumption.
