Belt and auger conveyors

Device description

Belt and screw conveyors are used to transport various types of materials (e.g. dewatered sludge, screenings, pulp, lime, etc.). The transported material is fed through the feed into the space of the coils of the rotating screw or moving belt, depending on the type of conveyor. Due to the rotating motion of the shaft and the force of gravity, the material is pushed through the screw belt along the trough or fed on the conveyor belt. The material is discharged when it reaches the discharge opening of the conveyor.

PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s belt conveyor is built from the following subassemblies: the frame, made entirely of stainless steel which guarantees high resistance to corrosion and abrasive wear; the drive unit, the power of which is selected individually depending on the length, width, working angle and other needs of the client; the conveyor belt, which, depending on the application, can be rubber or made of other plastics; the tensioning drum and drives, which are made of stainless steel in the shape of a “barrel” or “hourglass”. The conveyor is built in with covers to protect against possible accidents during operation.

PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s auger conveyor is built with a working trough lined with plastic. The screw conveyor structure is made entirely of stainless steel as a standard (except for the motoreducer screw band, bearings and lining inside the trough). At the request of the customer, the ribbon can be in acid-resistant execution or made of other materials. The feeder can operate horizontally or at an angle (0 – 30°). It also has the possibility of radial rotation of the conveyor depending on the needs of the dumping place. The device can be made in different variants, which allows you to customize them according to your needs.
