Device description
Regulated overflows are designed to regulate flows, as well as to regulate or maintain a constant liquid level in tanks at wastewater treatment plants. PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s overflows are built from the following assemblies and subassemblies: overflow frame, containment, trapezoidal screw, seal, drive. The overflow frame is constructed of bent and welded acid-resistant steel profiles. Embedded in the overflow frame is a containment made of sheet metal, angles and channels of acid-resistant steel, the setting of which provides the user with the desired level in the tank or the desired flow. The containing rod is driven by a trapezoidal screw, which is hingedly connected by a joint to the containing rod. The trapezoidal screw is made of brass or optionally of acid-resistant steel. We offer manual or mechanical screw drive. The trapezoidal screw is connected to the drive through a joint with a keyway. The vertical sealing of the containment consists of two layers of oil-resistant rubbers on the sides, fastened with screws, which ensures high effectiveness of the containment sealing. PROFILTER-PROJEKT overflows are maintenance-free and require only supervision and maintenance.
