Device description
PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s hydraulic feeder is designed for dewatering screenings, retained on an automatic step grate with simultaneous transport to a specified height. The feeder consists of the following four components: cylinder with housing, piston, venturi and pipeline, hydraulic power unit. The cylinder with housing is made of gas pipe in an acid-resistant steel casing, terminated with a flange on one side and piston handles on the other side. There are holes drilled in the bottom of the cylinder to drain water. The piston consists of a hydraulic cylinder, articulated to the gas pipe with a disc and ball in the bowls, and terminated at the front with a tarflen plate, whose function is to narrow the gap between the piston and the cylinder and push the screenings into the leach venturi. The section of the pipe /reducer/ with a conical openwork funnel inside it has flanges welded on both sides. The reducer is mounted between the cylinder and the pipeline and has a water drain. A baghouse can be installed at the end of the pipeline to accommodate organic bags for screenings. The unit consists of a container, motor, pump, filter, distributor and hydraulic lines. The operation of PROFILTER-PROJEKT’s hydraulic feeder is maintenance-free and requires only supervision and maintenance.
