PSS-W-R-MT TYPE AUGER PRESS WITH SHREDDER

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

The screenings in the feed are pre-washed with nozzles under considerable pressure. They are then subjected to shredding on a twin-shaft shredder. After shredding, screenings are subjected to rinsing again in a rinsing chamber on a slotted sieve, in which a conveying screw operates, which cyclically changes the direction of rotation for the best rinsing result. After rinsing, the screenings go to the pressing zone where they are discharged into a container or other device by appropriate pressure on the transport piping elbow.
