SS TYPE STEPPED GRID

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
Solid contaminants are retained on moving and fixed laminae, then with the help of moving elements they are transported up the grating, where at the end of the grating they fall by gravity into the waste container. The slow movement of screenings results in the formation of a so-called carpetbiological layer, which is designed to retain finer elements than the technological clearance of the grating. Maintaining the slow movement of the grating also affects the dewatering of the debris and at the same time reduces its volume. The stepped grating operates in automatic mode and in timed mode. The cycle of operation depends on the level in front of and behind the grating. The water level is read by means of probes, if the set level of differences is exceeded, the grating operation is switched on.
